ROFL. Molina was no worse than the great Andrzej Wawrzyk. Who in the f*** is that you ask? The dominant force Povetkin tested himself against before he fought Wlad. What a WBA title fight that was.

The easiest and best way to compare Wilder and Joshua is by looking at the comments of someone who has been in close quarters with both fighters and has seen and experienced what both men have to offer, over a sustained period of time. That man is Wlad. He has sparred with and had Wilder and Joshua in his camps, and he has seemingly been FAR more complimentary and bigging up AJ as the future of the HW division, rather than Deontay. He has always said Deontay is a good fighter but it doesn't seem like he rates him particularly highly...which would make sense if the stories of him dropping him in sparring with a headguard on are true.

He only does that because he knows he will never face AJ in his career. Joshua is a couple years off from fighting for the title and Wlad will be long gone by then. Wlad does have to worry about Fury and Wilder in his next three fights however. Wlad hates Fury and doesn't want to cede any mental edge to Wilder in the case of having to fight him after Fury.

I think he sincerely likes Joshua, but he wouldn't publicly say it if he knew he had to face him at some point..

Where is Wilder's jab?! He keeps his arms in a hugging position, and just looks for a lucky bomb. He doesn't set the bomb up with the jab. If he had a jab, Molina would have been out of there in 4 rounds.

AJ and wilder have some of the better jabs by a dude not named wladimir. most of those guys throw very few punches per round. AJ, wilder, our wladimir, are all in the type of shape needed to keep an opponent on the end of a jab.


wilder needs seasoning, still. his pro fights are short, and his amateur career was ridiculously short in spite of the fact that he won a bronze medal after qualifying for the olympics.

I think it's a Pick-em fight. If Wilder gets out of the first two rounds, Povetkin always runs out of gas and then goes on pure heart. By the fourth or fifth Povetkin is always running on fumes. Against a fighter with Wilder's reach and power, he won't be able to chase him down. If Povetkin gets inside early, it could get ugly..

if you take away a few mistakes per round, wilder is the goods. he still makes those novice mistakes, however, and i think it's going to cost him eventually.

Yeah, against a seasoned fighter like that you could be right. Like I said, if Povetkin gets inside early, Wilder could be in real trouble. After the early rounds though Povetkin won't get there. Too short and not enough foot speed to get there..

Wilder has stepped up. He beat Stiverne. Molina is ranked No 7 by the WBC. Malik Scott is ranked top 25. Wilder's likely next opponent is Tony Thompson, a top 10 HW. These guys are decent fighters. Kevin Johnson went in there and laid down.

I like Joshua but right now he is nothing more than a bum blaster. I think he can go far but everyone thought that about David Price too..

Only stevie wonder thought that of Price.
