Somebody finally calls him out, something he said no one would do, and now his feelings get hurt. Team GGG was hoping the gravy train of cash driver KO's would last forever, but now there is a risk to that "most feared" reputation he has.

And for GGG to try to talk down on on Ward's competition is laughable when Paul Smith and Edwin Rodriguez are better than GGG's top 5 opponents to date. Its also sad because Golovkin's fan base actually believe than his comp warrants top 5 P4P consideration.

I like both Andre Ward and Golovkin. The thing that gets me about Ward's comments though is that any criticism he has of Golovkin applies doubly to himself. With Cotto and Canelo campaigning at 155-160, GGG has a very legitimate reason for staying put, especially when he remains the uncrowned king of the division. Ward could easily go to 175 but doesn't. And his 'excuses' when asked about it are much weaker than Golovkin's.

Ward owned by GGG! I've said it before, Ward needs Golovkin more than the other way around. He's been out of the ring for more than 1.5 years. Before that, he was really just an up and comer, who wouldn't fight outside of his comfort zone in Oakland after winning the Super 6 tournament. His comeback fight is against a virtual unkown on an ethnic network that is unknown for televising boxing...ever. Where is the fight being held? Oakland...again. And he signed with Roc Nation, an upstart promoter who's CEO has beef with one of the most powerful men in boxing, Al Haymon. Come on Andre, you have to market yourself better & smarter than that!

No need to give GGG any respect: Ward is now fighting John Smith just because Golovkin ducked him.

Really? So Ward, who is fighting Smith @ a catch weight of 172 lbs, only had MW Golovkin as his other option? Ward is secretly sighing in relief that his comeback fight isn't against Golovkin. If he fought GGG today @ the MW limit, Ward's comeback fight would double as his retirement announcement.

Golovkin just made Ward look like a clown. Forget resume talk, that doesn't mean anything once you step in the ring. Hunter said he needs 3 tune up fights before Golovkin lol. GGG will be the best fighter Ward has stepped in the ring with. Ward's best win is Froch who refuses to fight Golovkin.

Ward needs GGG because he is an after thought in boxing. He is fighting a nobody on BET because HBO (the network he works for) won't put on that trash fight. And no one will watch because Porter Bronner is a better night on NBC lol.

I hope it happens and I have GGG winning by stoppage.

TBH, I don't ****ing care who is ducking who, but if this **** is true, then the sh_it is getting real.

I don't care if it is in december next year. but make it happen.

Ward 2-3 tune ups, GGG 2 or 3 more fights to get the lineal MW belt and possibly get all the belts.
