No where near, not even close. It's laughable. Fought 6 KO's Monroe Jr...talking **** about Smith as a comeback fight after 2 years, this guy fought a Monroe Jr while being active. Why not move up and fight Bika, or some actual challenge. When Ward didn't have a challenging fight scheduled when he was active, he took on Sakio Bika in the meantime to stay active vs a tough, durable opponent. Not a guy with 6 KO's.

It's not that he's shredding Ward's opponent. It's his way of saying as fighters they work with what they can get. You shouldn't ignore his previous words as they qualify his words. He's basically saying that he didn't have the luxury of having top level fighters bound by contract, and when that luxury was removed from Ward his level of competition dropped.

Sure keep telling yourself that. Golovkin has never fought an opponent coming off back to back losses like Paul Smith. All of the guys Golovkin has been fighting are ranked middleweights, the only exception was Rosado.

Golovkin has been cleaning out 160 little by little. Geale, Murray, Macklin, Rubio hell even Proksa were all ranked top 10. Monroe & Stevens were ranked top 15. That only leaves the guys that haven't been willing to fight him yet or can't (Cotto, Quillin/Jacobs, N'dam, Lemieux, Andy Lee & Billy Joe Saunders).

Ishida wasn't ranked in the top 10, neither was Adama. IDK in what list was Adama and Ishida top 10, definitely not The Ring MW rankings, maybe some individual posters' list to hype up GGG's wins. Ishida came off back to back losses to Pirog and Williams and fell off whatever listing the Kirkland win gave him. God, Proksa, he's so terrible, can he beat anyone? Like name or no name, is he able to get a win anymore? Kerry Hope, Maciej Sulecki, inactive Sergio Mora. At the very least he beat Rudolf Varga who was 1-1 and Norbert Szekeres 13-20. Who ever those guys are. Rubio's thing is basically, pad the record, fight some one with a pulse and lose, pad that record, fight some one with a pulse and lose, repeat this process.

I give him Murray, every one else you mentioned he beat is trash. Every one else you want him to fight like Lee, Lemieux (When and why did he enter the top 10? lol) N'Dam, Saunders(?) are all average, they do nothing to help his case. Quillin is an okay MW, he's inconsistent. Cotto is probably the best one there despite being only 153lbs in his last MW fight, but MW is so terrible that, yeah, a small guy like Cotto looks like an ATG there, so imagine a big strong MW like GGG, he's going to look like a god there.
