Who is next for Gennady Golovkin?

Looks like it won't be Cotto, Canelo, or Froch.

    Who is available and willing?

I think Golovkin should accept Lara's challenge, if Haymon will permit the fight to be made and televised by HBO.

Lee-Saunders winner would be okay, as would the winner of Lemieux-N'Jikam.

    It'll be De La Hoya.

It would mean a big payday for GGG, but I don't think it will happen.

Lee-Saunders is in Sept so the winner of that fight will likely not be fighting again this year. And I doubt Saunders will want anything to do with GGG if he should win that fight.

A fight with Lemieux would be possible if he wins, N'Dam has ducked GGG in the past and would continue to do so if he wins. The problem with a Lemieux fight would be whether or not Oscar would allow it to happen. I do not think he would.

I really have no idea who will have the balls to sign to fight Golovkin in Aug or Sept. Hopefully it will be someone with a decent name but I have no idea what fighters will be available at that time and ready and willing to fight him.

ever since their names were mentioned before the monroe jr fight was signed, i've expected johnson or heiland to be golovkin opponents in the near future. but don't they mean to fight each other first? unless the lara fight gets made by some miracle, i see his 3rd opponent of the year being a sub-monroe jr level dud

Actually he should fight Jorge Sebastian Heiland but he'll probably fight Sam Soliman & his fans will say everyone was ducking so soliman was his best option.
