Matthysse got outboxed pretty solidly. Nothing that really warrants a rematch.

Herrera is the only guy I would've wanted to rematch Garcia. Even though I feel like that was Garcia's off day while Herrera had his best day.

You have to remember that fighters want to ADVANCE their career. Not go back and fight rematch after rematch to get people's acceptance. This isn't Top Rank.

Besides these are 140 fights. He's at 147 now. Past is the past.

What a way to advance your career by fighting the pillow fisted guy who just got KTFO'd in his last fight & was considering retirement .

Only a handful of posters here like us can see Garcia is protected by Haymon & know about the quality of his opposition etc etc. The rest of the close to million viewers that Garcia does every time he fights guys like Salka in front of a sold out Barclays arena on SHO & talk about his amazing KO power don't realize any of these things. People in general are ****** & will buy Garcia because of his perfect record irrespective of who he faces.

This fight is terrible can't defend Danny Garcia and his team for making this fight. Just reading people defending this fight is just amusing at this point.

I don't get it. People jumped on this fight and how bad it is, but realistically who else was out there for Garcia as a first fight at 147? Yeah, Malignaggi is pretty light in the power category but he's a legit guy.
