The people thinking this is an ok fight or think Paulie has a shot are just in denial like those who were hoping Martinez would be healthy going into the Cotto fight.

I don't get it. People jumped on this fight and how bad it is, but realistically who else was out there for Garcia as a first fight at 147? Yeah, Malignaggi is pretty light in the power category but he's a legit guy.

Maidana? Still hasn't comeback

I wouldnt be so sure of that, Garcia is being force fed to people as a champ, nobody really likes the guy, aside from his hood liberace dress sense the guy has no personality, thats why his dad does all the talking for him. Did the puerto ricans in puerto rico eat it up? People arent ****** anyone but the staunchest haymon and danny garcia supporter can see this guy for the limited, overprotected, boxer that he is.

Only a handful of posters here like us can see Garcia is protected by Haymon & know about the quality of his opposition etc etc. The rest of the close to million viewers that Garcia does every time he fights guys like Salka in front of a sold out Barclays arena on SHO & talk about his amazing KO power don't realize any of these things. People in general are ****** & will buy Garcia because of his perfect record irrespective of who he faces.

Or Danny could rematch Hererra or Matthysse both of whom are willing & these would be way way better fight than Paulie. But this is Danny Garcia we're talking about LOL.

The only thing legit about Malignaggi as of now is his lack of power, let's not forget he got KTFO'd in his last fight.

This is such a horrible fight. Paulie needs to retire, he has a career already waiting for him outside the ropes

Saying that if Malignaggi can come in form his style can give Garcia problems. He knows how to use his lead hand to disrupt rhythm and throw off his opponents timing, and that is basically what Garcia's game is all about.
