First genuine 147 fight for Garcia, introduce him to the big boys.
Malignaggi is in no way shape or form one of the "big boys" @ 147 (or any weight).

      Jab-a-Thon?
Danny shouldn't get credit for his drunken-inebriated-caveman-blind-air-hitting-hook-a-Thon.
Yeah I thought Herrera was a clear as day robbery. Not sure what the judges were seeing in that fight.

Anyway this is a weak move by Garcia's part by any measure. If no one can see that Malignaggi is not a top fighter by now, they probably aren't going to be convinced when Garcia rattles him around. Won't look as bad as Porter, but it's gonna be bad.

Victim mentality is all but played out for Danny. They just wanna see the kid lose that's the reason right? Otherwise everyone would've been cool with the Salsa fight I guess. Bring up the idiotic eye excuse and make yourself look silly trying to discredit Herrera's performance simply because he utilized the jab, even though it was Herrera who did a more effective job of walking Danny down.

        • Haymon is completely screwing up PBC. We all know Garcia is a Rican and a h0m0, so we already knew he was a coward. But whats Haymons excuse?

Garcia got extremely lucky at 140. He should've had 4, if not 5 loses already. But he's gotten 3 gifts and 2 times he got lucky.

At 147 he's going to be garbage. He's not going to be able to beat any of the top 147 fighters.

Haymon knows that latin fighters are marketable. Problem is, Danny is as generic Puerto rican as they come. He doesn't even speak Spanish. Michael Buffer is more Puerto Rican than Danny Garcia.

Paulie can Herrera him so long as he can avoid the no look left hook. Danny's entire game plan consists of swinging with his opponent and hoping his hook lands flush. He'll take one to give his. Both Paulie and Danny know that Paulie cant hurt him so my guess is that Paulie will stick and move while firing off his little flurries here and there.

There's a big PR community in New York, but they don't give a shlt about Garcia.

And they aren't blind followers either. They love Felix and Cotto because those guys are warriors and real Ricans. Garcia is neither, so it really doesn't make a difference since he doesn't really have many fans at all.

Does Haymon really think this fight is going to be exciting? What is his end game with Garcia? Does he really think Garcia is going to do well against the top fighters at Welter?

Garcia is making a mockery out of boxing, and also of Haymon.

Prime Paulie maybe but we're talking about a Paulie that's coming off a 16 month lay off and a KO. Not going to happen.
