Why are people mad? Paulie makes a lot of elite guys look bad. I'm sure he'll do the same against Danny. I mean, DSG will find a way to win but still, Paulie has a good chance against anybody these days.

because Swift most likely will win...they wanna see him lose...they've been waiting for YEARS...they even accept moral victories like Zab coming on strong late...Herrera's jab a thon...and can't forget the BEST of them ALL...Lucas was winning before his eye accidentally closed up and orbital bone accidentally fell apart....they'll even take Peterson's late fight charge and Khan's 2 rounds of dominance....dudes super thirsty for a Swift "L" so they've become quite salty about his 30-0 with 17 KO's work of art....

You really think Danny cares about his marketability when he's fighting guys like Salka, Malignaggi & making millions each time doing that? After Floyd retires, Danny's undefeated record is gonna be marketed just like Floyd's & people are gonna eat it up.

As long as Danny is with Haymon & continues to fight the Salka's & Mallinagi's, his undefeated record is gonna last a lifetime. Danny isn't like Broner who demands that he fight guys like Maidana, Danny & his dad are content with stepping down in competition every time Danny looks bad against guys like Mauricio Hererra, Peterson etc.

Broner didn't demand Maidana, they saw Maidana look like **** vs Alexander Look mediocre against Lopez, and thought he would be a safe fight. It was a cherry pick gone wrong for them.

No one's thirsty for ****, Herrera already gave Thrift a loss, thats why you guys act all ****** when someone brings up a legitimate gripe about the decision.

Broner demanded that he fight Maidana. Since his loss to Alexander, Maidana was coming off a three fight win streak where he KO'd/TKO'd Soto Karass, Angel Martinez and Josesito Lopez. Broner didn't cherry pick Maidana, he bit off more than he could chew.

Broner kept saying after the azz beating he caught from Maidana that he wants an immediate rematch but Haymon talked sense into him.

I hate this matchup for Danny

Paulie is very similar to Herrera in where he uses his jab effectively and moves effectively. He's not a puncher so he won't trade with you, just fight a smart defensive fight looking to win on points. Danny is not Porter, where he'll seek and destroy you with heavy shots. Danny's game is stiff counterpunching. He doesn't go after guys and he won't cut the ring. This has been proven against Peterson and Herrera.

I would have hoped that for this first 147 pound fight he would of have fought a limited brawler type like Jesus Soto Karass or Josesito Lopez. Even Andre Berto would of been perfect for Danny. Paulie's style just isn't made to make Danny look good in there.

A guy that is out of the ring more than a year and comes from a terrible beating, now he is fighting Danny Garcia, disgrace to boxing today!!!
Mauricio Herrera (very close fight indeed), Rod Salka, Lamont Peterson (another very close fight) and now Paulie Malignaggi ???
If someone still doesn't understand that Lucas Matthysse broke Garcia...., well that man is a fo*l.

If Malignaggi has his legs this could be an interesting fight. If he has lost that gift, he will get beaten up. I will support Malignaggi but Garcia will likely win a decision.
