WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith Thurman (25-0, 21KOs) is confident that he's in the running for a crack at the pound-for-pound king, WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs).

Thurman is set to return against Luis Collazo (36-6, 19KOs) on July 11th at the USF Sundome in Tampa, Florida. The fight will headline the first edition of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN.

There are a lot of good fights out there for thurman, but idk if there is any reason to think thurman/may would be competitive. But to be fair, that is a high standard to set. There should have been a tourney between Brook/Khan/Thurman/Bradley for May/Pac winner. Personally I think Brook is the best fit, but it's probably going to be Khan.

Defintely isn't Brook.

Won't be Canelo.

Khan is the front runner, Cotto is possible but he's a distant second and he will likely fight Canelo.

They're the only two possible options.
