I swear, I'm not trolling bro but I ain't see no bombs man. I must have been drunk too like the rest of people there. The problem was that the buzz and building died after Felix's fight. Same thing happened when Rigo fought Agbeko in NJ after Tapia got killed by Kirk. The buzz in the building died and all the fans left. And when 2 guys boo it sounds like 2k are booing. They didn't deserve to be boo'd last night but the fight wasn't all that.

I've never ever said Cotto is a face first brawler. I've been watching cotto since the beggining of his career and have been a fan. I picked Marvella over him, and I was wrong. But I've picked Swift over Matthysse, and Floyd over Pac. But back on point, if theres someone who you consider more exciting, why dont they sell? And no, you gotta WIN! its a sport, competition, where you compete to see who comes out as the victor i.e. WINS. If it was about excitement 12-15 vs 11-12 (wins/losses) would be getting watched, because "boy he might lose all the time but he was EXCITING!" doesnt make sense does it? Youre just sub-conciously hating on Floyd because he didnt have to **** to beat youre favorite fighter. What fun would boxing be if only the strongest won everytime?
**** didnt work out for who you rooted for, pick someone to root for who actually have skill, you would enjoy BOXING then. but as for now, stick to watching bar room brawls or Professional wrestling.

I'm not saying u said Cotto isn't exciting. I'm saying that he is exciting and doesn't have to go out and brawl to be exciting. His skills are enough but he ****s too. And idc if floyd beats all my favorite fighters tbh. But if I say it's not exciting or that he's a point fighter or boring u shouldn't be mad. If it's a boring fight then it's a boring fight. If most of your fights are boring then you kinda are a boring fighter. It's not about being the strongest at all. If u sit and watch a fight u can judge if it's exciting or if it's not. It's very simple for me.

I wonder why exciting fighters usually lose to these boring fighters 90% of the time. It's because lack of skill. If you lose people tend to forget how exciting you was after a while.

That's true but if you're always boring, people forget how good u are after a while as well.

It's better to be boring and win than exciting and lose. Those who complain about somebody being boring is usually a guy who lost to a boring fighter.

It is but not by that much. I would hate to be viewed as a boring fighter. That's just me though. Some ppl just wanna win and get their money. That's cool but I wouldn't be able to be like that. I would want that when I'm fighting, people say it's must see tv. Not oh, boring Rigg is on. To each their own though at the end of the day you know.

                  No.
But there are constant changes to these sports in oder to try to make them more exciting. Football has constantly changed their rules to make it more fan friendly. So has basketball. Baseball just recently tried speeding up the pace of the game because they found that most young fans found it very boring.

All sports understand that entertainment is the most important part of bringing in new fans. ($$$) So they adjust accordingly.

                      I totally agree...........

Fans want excitement. You have to be defensively responsible and let your hands go at the same time. It's a simple formula, really. Look at Legends like Whitaker, Ali, SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Chavez, Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, etc. They were exciting to watch and they were good defenders as well. What happened on May 2nd, should change the way you watch/judge a fight. Let's take it back to the days where a fighter is penalized for excessive running, holding, and dirty tactics. You should have to fight to win a fight. You cannot take away a Champion's belt when they are coming forward and trying to make the fight. You used to have to take away a Champion's title. Judging now is a joke and the refs are as well. Floyd has come along and destroyed what little pride boxing had left with his antics and cowardly ways in the ring. His finale fight won't do 600K. WATCH! Fans are tired of him and aren't fooled by his pot-shotting, excessive holding, dirty tactics, and running anymore. Manny exposed him for what he truly is, a coward. He fights like a punk. It's hard to watch that nonsense.
