The biggest Draws in boxing was mostly Skilled Boxers other than Mike Tyson who was really the only Brawler that became the huge draw that he was.

However this is not the WWE, you can't Fix the Action and Fix the Excitement. It is something that just happens in boxing, sometimes you will get a 1st Round KO, sometimes you will get a 8th Round KO sometimes you will get a 12 Round Decision Fight. It takes 2 Fighters to put on a great fight! When the talent level is even like Hagler vs Hearns, Ray Leonard vs Hagler and Duran vs Leonard their first fight chances are you won't have a disappointing fight.

But in this ERA of Boxing when you put in Likable Hype vs Skilled Boxer, the match up is always disappointing and it is not because of the BOXER, it is because his opponent is not as good as he was built up to be and fans get BUTT HURT and frustrated that their guy couldn't win so instead of blaming the fighter they LIKE, they blame they guy that he fought for everything: "HE RAN" "HE CLINCHED" "HE DID NOT LET HIS OPPONENT HIT HIM ENOUGH".

2 Fighters Make Great Fights NOT JUST ONE! When the talent level is EVEN you will get a great fight. Matthysse vs Ruslan was great because the talent level was even! Mayweather vs Pacquiao was build up because people was mislead for years to believe their talent levels was EVEN thanks to people like Jim Lampley.

You box the way you was taught coming up as a fighter, you don't turn pro then go away from that to please people who don't know a damn thing about boxing.

The killer to your argument is, Why doesnt the face first brawlers sell? Sorry to destroy your other premise but not "everyone" as his haters report, hopes to see him lose, but that doesnt matter because youre gonna keep using this excuse even though he probably has the TOP 4-5 ppv's in HISTORY. Why arent the FACE FIRST BRAWLERS on this list? If millions of people pay to see floyd lose, why dont they pay to see someone WIN? Cause haters love to think that everyone thinks like them. /pac-roid rant

you guys need to ask yourself this one question. do you think mayweather would be in the position he's in today based solely on his boxing skills. i dont think so. he was able to market himself as the bad guy. people bought into it and ever since he's been making money off of his villain persona.

Keep winning, be part of a popular division, and have a good promoter. Sometimes you're in an even better position when you are born in a big Boxing country like Mexico, PR, USA.

I was there bro. Most of the fans left after Felix. The ones that stood wanted to keep on drinking and see blood. The fight compared to the previous one wasn't exciting at all. It wasn't bad but it wasn't exciting. It was just a so, so boxing match.

I don't wanna talk about Floyd or Ward Cuz they're boring to me. So is Klitschko though. And yeah, he has 50 KO but that doesn't mean that he's now exciting. I see the fights, I don't just go by his stat sheet or the end result. I sit there watching his fights un entertained every single time.

Why do fans like u say exciting fighters are face first brawlers??? A guy like Cotto has never been a face first brawler but has always been exciting. You can box but you gotta **** too. You can't just box, run, hold and box. It gets old after a while.

They were landing some bombs. They didn't deserve that either way. If those are the types of fights that will draw boos then you might as well boo 98% of fights that take place across the world.

klitschko, ggg, kovalev, canelo dont need to talk much. they can let their fists do all the talking. but guys like malignaggi and mayweather who arent able to excite fans inside the ring excited them outside the ring by having a motor mouth at media pressers and by talking a lot of smack towards their opponents..

lara, rigo, andre ward and all up and coming fighters should enroll in an evening course in marketing 101.
Apples and oranges - Put Mayweather up against the caliber of fighters Golovkin's been up against and you'd get more knockouts.
