Marciano vs Ali the movie

I just watched the movie of Ali vs Rocky but im not sure if this fight really happen anybody knows?

Rocky and Ali sparred over something like 80 something rounds with a variety of scenarios. Then a computer used information from boxing experts on both men and their ring performances in various fights and under various circumstances and, using a formula made up from the guy who promoted the original radio computer all time heavyweight tournament.....tabulated the result.

Both men pulled punches at the other man's head; but the body shots were for real. While I have my doubts to the true authenticity of the result....no way a computer can analyze a man, IMO.....I will say seing the two in the ring with each other made me more aware of the real problems a prime Rocky would present for a prime Ali....thought the ring was WAAAY too small.

the link you posted made it seemed like ali was scared to fight him for real when marciano suggested it. no way ali would turn down an offer from a 46yr. old man. ali would have probbly killed marciano right then and there in a real fight.

Marciano was in shape, he trained as if it were a real fight, i seriously doubt that Ali even trained.

yeah thats what the site was trying to say Marciano was always competitive and maybe even thought Akl would try to embarrass him so Marciano train as if it was a real fight and Ali didnt at all..the myth is that Rocky hit an out of shape Ali with a hard hook to the ribs and had him very hurt from it....true or not Marciano could have held his own with Ali in his prime

yeah thats the way i feel ..Ali would win on cuts mid/late rounds or Rocky puts on the best fight of his life and lands big ..

I think it was either a money problem or Ali just didnt want to do it at first ..nah Ali was never scared of any fighter as far as we know

His granite chin would allow him to walk throught the butterfly's jabs and ultimately knock his head of with one of his patented right hands.

No dis respect to ALi, he was great, but I give the brockton blockbuster the edge.
