But again, he's still developing. Speed can't be taught. Anyway, dude can def be very good. BamBam showed a lot of heart. I don't think he was ever really hurt. He's a small (5'5") 130. And was able to take Verdejos best and finish the fight. Cong**** kid. Verdejo, keep progressing, bright future!
This seems to be a very realistic opinion. Verdejo won clearly and Najera showed a big heart but Ivan lacks many things (being rated around number 150 in his division is a bit generous). On the other hand, Verdejo appears rated around number 50 meaning he is getting closer to fight for a title.

Great skills, nice personality, potential to be a huge star in boxing (and boxing needs big stars to thrive)....whats not to like??

Ivan Najera is a good fighter aswell....
Ivan Najera is garbage and nobody is claiming he doesnt have the potential to be great but lets not act like he beat a guy who was on par with him. He got away with some big mistakes because the other guy didn't have the power to make him pay it was just a good learning type of fight for him

Good performance from Verdejo and Najera. I had never seen Najera fight, so I was pretty impressed with his skills.
Verdejo must be every great trainer's and promoter's dream. He's young, humble, likeable, still moldable, talented, and has room for improvement. He needs to work the body more, keep his poise (which will come with experience), and bob and weave more instead of always relying on his legs and high guard. As I watched the fight, I told myself that he'd knock Najera down/out if Verdejo counter punched more often. Soon after he countered and knocked him down. I hope he doesn't turn out to be another Juanma.ni also hope it doesn't take changing trainers to see the improvements.

            Hi hater
Great post. I remember the maricones talking highly of DULORME. What happened to him now? LOL.

Verdejo is another bum waiting to be exposed.

Ask Peasant; he was on Papito's cawk until Arce exposed his ass and pretty much took his soul. Now Papito is fighting at cantinas.

            Ain't that right, old timer?

Verdejo will get his when he steps to real comp. Fact.

Quit hating on Felix, he is a humble guy, young, and enjoys boxing. You are a hater just because Felix is Puertorican an not Mexican. But, at any time you could send any Mexican to try to beat Felix and he will kick they ass. Haters, in 3,2,1.

What? He threw some nice body shots today that hurt Najera.

And yet, Arce retires everytime he gets beat. I have more respect for Papito fighting at cantinas doe.

I like how Verdejo left you salty. You had to reach back in history to lift your spirits. "But once upon a time, Arce beat Papito doe"

                  ahahahahahahahahahaha!

How old do you think he should have been when he fought Trout?
19? 18? Seriously, stop hating because you just embarrass yourself
