Ward-Golovkin is in way more in demand than Ward-Kovalev. Too much talk for it not to happen first. The only times I hear about Ward-Kovalev is as a distraction away from Golovkin-Ward.

GGG's trainer shot his mouth off saying Golovkin would take on everyone at 160 and 168. That's ridiculous. Ward is 6'1" and way bigger than GGG. Just as GGG is way bigger than Cotto.

That's why we (used to) have weight classes. But they've become meaningless with so many belts and all this weight gamesmanship (e.g., Cotto publicly declaring his right as the "A side" fighter to drain Geale to gain an advantage, just as he said Pacquaio gained an advantage against Cotto in the same way.)

I like GGG's stated purpose of taking over 160 before moving up (if he moves up at all), but his trainer has contradicted this several times.

Which is what? If ward was trying to fight pascal at 175 but wants 171 for Kov then you'd have a point. Team golovkin ducking hard.

In b5 u say but he fought smith at 172 doe and try to pretend it's even remotely similar

You say GGG is ducking Ward, Herr Gruber, but you deny Ward is ducking Kovalev?

Ward may not even be able to make 168 any more, maybe that's why he demanded the 172 catch weight against Smith.

Guess this had to get bumped in light of recent comments made by GGG's team. Classic NSB deflection

Just curious when does he take the Kov fight? Virgil seems to not want anything to do with it, and says he believes Ward will be 168lber forever.
