... Yes -- Ward is apparently right with his syllogisms... But, but, actually he took this John Smith at 172 as a comeback fight...

... Remember just who Floyd fought first just after his long layoff?

... I would have expected Ward to call Golovkin at 168 for his comeback fight -- and, then, everybody would have had been extremely satisfied, quietened, and/or silenced...

I'm not taking sides. Ward was begging Chavez for a fight too and his trainer talked about 3 tuneups.

So on one hand, you have a guy fighting bums in hopes of getting a lottery ticket against Canelo and Cotto. Turning their nose up at every damn challenger that doesn't headline ppvs.

On the other hand, you have a guy that hasn't fought in 2 years and threw a temper tantrum because he couldn't get the Chavez Jr fight.

I like both fighters but **** them both until they are in a fight that intrigues me. But as usual fanboys will take sides, and we'll have 25 pages of flaming and "Ward is boring doe" and "GGG is a hype job doe".

it does seem like ggg is playing the same not now in a couple years game that everyone plays with him. the fact is its a big ass fight and they both would make money ppv or not everyone knows this. even ggg fans have to admit it almost feels like ggg is trying to wait ward out till he goes to 175. if ggg truly wants to prove himself why the hell wouldnt he fight ward i mean if he won were talking automatic superstar dom that would transcend boxing. im sure ggg fans will start saying things like kovalav, stevenson etc but the reality is ggg ward needs to happen before ward makes the jump to 175

no his trainer said that would be the best case but ward has continued to say he wouild face ggg but that he dont think ggg is serious about fighting him. i honestly dont understand why this fight is not being begged for by both sets of fans were talking about 2 of the most talented guys in the dam sport and both fan bases have excuse after excuse or they deflect it by saying ward should fight kovolav. ggg ward needs to happen before they get older it would be so dam epic

This faqqot is scared ****less of Kovalev. That's why he keeps bringing up GGG and Froch, why is he desperate for a Froch rematch when he beat him clearly? Utterly pathetic.

He's the one that needs to move up. 168 is a bummy division and light heavy is heating up.

whats ur point he still wants to fight ggg i seriously cant comprehend why u guys wouldnt want to see this after whining none stop about people avoiding ggg now someone legit wants to fight him and hes silent. kinda exposes his whole big bad wolf thing hes got going when hes ducking a fighter thats smaller then froch. why people would not want to see the second best fighter in the world go about against the modern day forman/tyson of sorts the current wrecking ball of our generation when the guy has been begging for a big fight is beyond me. literally the only thing i can think of is they are scared ggg will lose otherwise why the hell wouldnt you ggg fans want the fight. it would instantly transcend ggg to top 3 pound for pound it would instantly turn him into a ppv star no matter who hes fighting. the reality is ggg and his fans are duck and excuse city when it comes to ward.
