I must be a moron, yet for the record can you explain why can Lara not face GGG, because Monroe made him look poor and Lara has the same style ? Lara has stated on record he would take the fight, I'm not sure what defeating another JMW who was dropped twice by Angulo would achieve but the fight is there, you can not hide from the fact, or is their another reason Lara can not face GGG ?

Ward could be available for GGG as early as late fall if K2 or HBO put the money up, yet they continue to build this hype train up and whole heartedly refuse to initiative any contact with other promoters such as ROC or Matchroom. Alright I understand they want the bigger name fights with the larger support bases ie Cotto and Canelo, yet both are JMW's and have stated wont be fighting at 160 any time soon, in Cotto's case likely never.

The reason Lara may be a no go is cause HBO does not work with Haymon. When is the last time you saw one on HBO? And why would they start with a guy topping their anti Gatti list, who'd be a huge underdog to boot and bring no creds at MW?

HBO probably can't bankroll Ward vs GGG, and Team GGG definitely can't. Roc Nation are the only ones that can, but they're also talking financial sense. Hope Ward can get his team to put together an offer finally.

Yes, I do. And TBH, Canelo should fight in this order Cotto, Golovkin. That's my personal opinion.

And Cotto should he fighting in this order Canelo, Golovkin.

It's a dumb comparison tho. GGG would be C side to Floyd, he might even burn HBO for a fight that big. HBO might even let him, cause he'd be massive if he stopped Floyd. Lara OTOH brings bad numbers and no credentials at the weight, and little credit for GGG since Lara is given little chance by anyone.
