NOOOOO.....I like my fair share of boxing skills but that fight would cause a riot in the crowd because of the lack of action.

Matter a fact I don't think the arena will even be filled for that fight.

There has to be an balance between boxing and fighting.

It will be two guys flicking there jabs at each other and jocking for an position to land an one two or a pot shot.

Styles makes or breaks fight and that will be an broken one.

Are you serious? Do we need to go through the list of Floyd's lackluster prior opponents... How in holy hell did Robert Guerrero seem like a viable opponent... Lara is a legitimate threat to Floyd... Floyd has NEVER faced anyone like Lara... And more importantly, NO ONE ELSE has a better chance of beating Floyd at this current time... except maybe GGG but that's unrealistic.

Lara has solid attributes but not the boxing IQ.

He has no variety at all in his game, a real thinker in the ring has options Lara is just the same stuff over and over.

He might make Floyd look iffy based on speed reach and movement, there isn't a chance in hell of him getting the nod in that fight though.

Lara has already had 2-3 chances to punch his ticket and failed every time. He's barking up the right tree chasing Golovkin.

The commentators were hyping it. That surprised me.

Lara won't throw at all. Floyd will counter over top his measuring jab and he will spend the whole night confused about how to set up his left hand. He has no inside game and Floyd is better at every other distance.

Yeah that boring match-up will sell. I fell asleep during the Floyd Manny marathon, this fight would be no different. Lara with his non crowd pleasing style will be back on spike tv or bet, but I don't think too many people will pay to see him fight, I don't want Mayweather/ Khan either but Khan at least will make it exciting (win or lose). I hope GGG fights Lara and KO's him, so we never have to watch him fight, even if it is free (they could put on better shows without him).

Mayweather Jr. Vs. Lara would be brutal even for those who spend all day professing to love the sweet science

Negative, Lara has always been the guy to give Floyd problems... Floyd will take an easy fight for his "last" fight in September... He'll fight Khan because Khan has more ****** fans...

Lara is the only guy that might outpoint Floyd, even if a lot punches aren't landed... Floyd boxes circles around Thurman and Khan... Floyd will simply not be able to coast on points like he does with most fighters if he fights Lara...

I can see why it's intriguing. Lara is rangy and possess a lot of physical attributes that Floyd hasn't seen before. But when you REALLY start to look at it, there is no way Lara can win.

If he diversified his attack more, hell yeah, he would posses HUGE problems.
