Comments Thread For: Klitschko: Deontay Wilder is One My Target Opponents

WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53KOs) is hungry to secure the one world title which is missing from his collection - the green and gold belt of the World Boxing Council.

Klitschko is targeting undefeated puncher Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs), who holds the WBC heavyweight belt and defense that belt against Eric Molina this Saturday in Alabama. If Wilder wins, he could be facing mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin next.

Forget it Wladdy, Wilder only wants to fight tomato cans. If you get past Fury, retire after that.

              Not so fast, big man.

Fury is roiding up and going through ten weeks of Rocky IV training.

Better focus on the behemoth in front of you before you think about Wilder.

Right on. PBC is the new face of boxing and the PBC title is the only one that matters now.

If Wlad and Fury could fight Haymon would have signed them already. No stiff eurobum will ever be good enough to be the PBC HW champ.

Great statement from Wlad, "I definitely want to unify all the belts, but it’s not a must. If that’s not going to work, I’ll still be the heavyweight champion of the world. It’s not a must"

That's how you put a paper champion in his place. In other words, he wants your belt but he doesn't need it; He is THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. He obviously knows that getting this fight made is gonna be tough. Wilder isn't exactly begging for the fight the way David Haye at least did when he held the WBA belt.

IDK Wlad has to get through Fury first. Guy is getting old. Wilder is just as long, more power, and then years younger. He's already sparred 50 rounds with Wlad and walked away with a camp bonus. I see this as a tough fight..
