naz beats most of them ... not sure about him beating mares or loma, doe.
Prime Naseem Hamed vs the current titlists at 126 how well would he do

Loma is a pure boxer with high potential, so he has a good chance of beating him.

I think this is as much about Barrera's capabilities as it is Naseem's. I think people forget what an unbelievable fighter Barrera was at superbantam/featherweight in his prime, I don't speak it lightly when I say he is an ATG in these weight classes, especially at featherweight. None of the current guys would be THAT competitive with Barrera, Morales, Marquez, or Pacquiao.
Naz was a notch below these guys but he still beats the hell out of Gary Russell, Walters may give him problems with his height, reach, and power, but Naz would prevail in a fire fight by devastating knock out in my opinion. Lomachenko would present the most problems, but even then there are two things that you have to be able to do as a featherweight fighting Naz in his prime. You have to have a chin which can stand up to what most described as somewhere between a welterweight/middleweight punch, and second you have to have world class boxing ability and discipline. There are plenty of featherweights who tick the second box, but very few who tick the first box, and that was the problem with fighting Naz. Plenty of good fighters and some very good fighters had success but they either eventually got knocked out cold or were too pedestrian to outbox him.Comment

c'mon man... Naz was done with boxing by the time he fought Barrera.I think this is as much about Barrera's capabilities as it is Naseem's. that's a convenient, punk @ss excuse.
"c'mon man, naz wasn't going to take the biggest test of his career seriously" gtfoh
naz would have gotten HANDLED by any of the elite mexicans in MAB, EM and JMM. H-A-N-D-L-E-D.Comment

Do you give amir khan credit for beating THAT version of Barrera?Comment

I don't believe Naseem took MAB as his biggest test. Hindsight is 20/20 but at that time MAB was considered a good fighter but not a future ATG. He had lost to both Morales and Junior Jones and was coming up in weight.
And I can't say Morales, Marquez, or MAB would handle Naseem with ease when none of them wanted to fight him in his prime. Especially Marquez who said he wasn't ready for the fight.
And even against a past prime Naseem, MAB barely got the job done.
As for the question I pick Naseem over everyone except Mares and Loma.Comment

not really an excuse, its fact he was done.
Back problems, weight issues, hands were shot
Naz had never been overweight in his entire career, but after injuring his spine, his weight went up, he spent the entire camp trying to bring his weight down
Emanuel Steward confirmed Naz looked horrible in sparring and his weight was a problemComment
