It's official that Danny Garcia is fighting August 1st, at Barclays Center, on ESPN.

You can't point to a single article anywhere where they've said that the opponent will be Paulie Malignaggi.

If you've seen that anywhere, I'd like to know.

Garcia-Malignaggi is a done deal and will be announced on Monday most likely. Co-feature is not done but like will be Daniel Jacobs vs. Sergio Mora. It will be on ESPN from Barclays Center.

Yes, I believe that fight will happen. Both camps told me yesterday they want the fight and it is a no-brainer fight for HBO to do.

I know it probably makes you feel better but no need to exaggerate. He weighed 165 fully clothed. His camp said his actual weight was around 157, Crawford and Broner both weigh around 159 on fight night. Stop being a ***** fighting little men ranked #77 in lower divisions and go fight someone your own size. I think thay Garcia could be a big dog at 147 but his last 3 fights were ridiculous and you can't deny that.

I am truly not a fan of either Garcia or Peterson so I can say with complete certainty that my opinion is unbiased. With that said, it is my opinion that Peterson easily outclassed Garcia in every way in that fight. That is except of course on the score cards. Only because it was a horrible decision.
