Legacy? What legacy? His career revolves around beating Cotto, and thats it. Dude is one of the most overrated boxers in history and doesn't even contain a prime run on his resume.
My thing is, how do you load up your gloves for "only" Mosley but not load up your gloves for the biggest fight of your career against a prime undefeated Cotto? Makes zero sense. Him and his team are cowards for trying to cheat, plane and simple.Comment

i was watching a hbo vid of max/bhop/jim discussing cotto re-emergence, max said cotto was cheated out of his prime by margarito because of plaster paris. i just dont understand how u can say this on national tv without any proof. cotto simply couldnt handle his pressure and stamina.
in relation to the plaster theory if margarito had used plaster paris against cotto then why the hell did he take his glvoes off in the ring? when people were shaking his hand wouldnt they have felt something unusual?
furthermore, cotto face doesnt show signs of plaster damage. compare his face to a real victim of plaster and u can see massive difference
so has anyone on here got any evidence that margarito used plaster paris
update. the ''crack'' in margarito wrap that cotto pointed out on hbo faceoff turns out to be piece of string lol

Marg got 1 year because it wasn't even plaster to begin with, it was some trace elements that need other elements combined to make a plaster-like substance. As mentioned earlier, those "elements" can be found in anything, even hand lotion.Comment

Margarito didnt even want the Mosley fight. He hadnt fully recovered from the Cotto fight and was badly out of shape.
His team were also using faulty scales which showed him being 2lbs over the weight. He weighed in 145 for Mosley. Look at the difference between how he looked at the Cotto weigh in where he was a full 147 and healthy.
They had a terrible camp and that could have lead to Capetillo or Margarito himself or both thinking they needed extra help against Mosley.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 06-11-2015, 06:50 PM.Comment

Every fight likely had a different commissioner and certainly had a different opponent. You can't fool all the people all the time. Maybe what was in Margarito's gloves wasn't as substantial as Cotto fans make it out to be, explaining why the commissioner wasn't su****ious?Comment
