Margarito had stamina for days because he didnt load up on all his punches he used leverage when his trainer saw cotto weaken and slow he adked him to load up hit harder. This was one of my favorite fights of all time, and I am more of a Cotto fan than a Margarito fan, but the way Margarito just broke him down was what boxing is all about. Early body work won that fight for Margarito. Of course the body work was completely ignored by the announcers, but it was stellar and was the difference in the fight.

Cotto looked fantastic early, but like I said Margarito went to the body hard and often.

I was really disappointed when I heard that Margarito got caught cheating and there isn't much doubt that he had been doing it before. Despite Cotto saying his punches felt the same, I think he cheated.

The issue wasn't that his entire wraps were made out of plaster, the issue was the extra padding they were putting over his knuckles. No one would be that ****** to have the entire wrap as hard as a cast that crack. Again, look at the padding for the mosely fight. That was to go over the knuckles, and then wrapped over it to hide it. This above picture is not a crack, it's a thread.

Again, this isn't saying he didn't cheat for Cotto and didn't have that padding over his knuckles, it's just that it's not a crack in the wrap.

Yes. The inserts. What would make the threads break in such a way? Cuz I've never seen that happen before. Not that I can recall.
