why is margarito cheating against cotto theory widely accepted? proof?

Margarito came into the training camp for the Mosley fight way overweight and in poor shape. His trainer knew his fighter wasn't the same one who stopped Cotto and resorted to desperate measures. This may seem like speculation, but with any contrary proof it is at least as valid as the "Margarito always cheated" theory which has zero supporting evidence.

Look Margarito may have beat Cotto legitimately, who knows. I do know that the Mosley fight lost me a lot of respect for Margarito and he subsequently got rekt a few times. It's not proof, but I don't think Margarito deserves the benefit of the doubt or even a thread this long discussing him.

Also for the record, it was discovered in the Resto fight that padding had been removed from the gloves BUT later on, in the documentary made about it, it was admitted that the wraps were dipped in plaster as well. He was basically hittin the dude with unpadded bricks.

EDIT: Also, even though I really dislike Margarito, I'd like to point out that that is almost definitely some sort of thread or hair on the handwraps.

Margarito was caught on the spot trying to cheat.

Just noticing the red stain now. I can't tell if the red stain on his glove wrap in the cotto fight is the same stain as in the picture of the mosley wrap, but I will acknowledge that it could be.

It can be consider that the block was covered with gauze so some of the glove stain passed to it no all as it was noticeable in the Cotto fight.

Its said the plaster mixture leaves a pink tint. plus the cracked wraps. Don't recall sweat cracking wrap like that. You also look at the fights. Margs was expected to go threw Mosley and tried to cheat anyway. Cotto was his first big time fight. Cant expect people to believe he cheated for the so called easier fight but didn't for the bigger fight.
What I don't get is why do people still insist on defending him. And when Max asked him was there a difference in the punches he just said look at my face compared to the last fight.
