What interesting about it is that everyone fights tune-up tomato's . GGG , Cotto's last two fights have been tune ups , Pac/Algeri ect ect , but when Ward does it , it's a travesty .

I can only suggest that it's because GGG and his camp placed the wolf ticket for sale that stated he'd fight anyone from 154 to 168 .Comment

Furthermore , if GGG started taking catch weight fights north of 160 to gradually work his way up , I don't think he'd catch much flak . But since he's content to stay at 160 and fight tomato's after he sold that wolf ticket , he deserving in catching the flak . I like GGG and like most , I don't marginalize his accomplishments , but like ward , it is time to move toward more competitive pastures because we don't need u to capture all belts in that weight class to realize your the best in it !Comment

When you're considered to be one of the best p4p fighters in the world, the heir to the number one p4p status once Floyd retires your expectations are going to be different from most fighters.
Plus a lot of people give guys like ggg, Pacquiao and Cotto crap when fighting weak opposition.Comment

John Smith is a beast... I wonder why Ward took that fight -- he could call Sartison instead.Super middleweight contender Paul Smith (35-5, 20KOs) is not delusional. He knows that his chances of outboxing Andre Ward (27-0, 14KOs) is practically non-existent. Smith challenges Ward on June 20th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. It will be Ward's first fight since November 2013 and it takes place at a catch-weight of 172-pounds. The fight will be televised by BET.
