I would like to see it happen, GGG might punch harder and is the way better overall fighter, but Lemieux has what looks like faster hands and can be sneaky.

GGG would have to be very careful with him the first couple rounds, well anyone would have to be careful with Lemieux for that matter.

GGG is not the way better fighter. Where do you boxing novices come from? He is a one dimensional come forward fighter with an okay jab and no defense. Lemieux with a few improvements could expose him and quite possibly stop him. GGG is hyped but boxing novices cant see the obvious because they only hear the hype and dont see the fighters glaring weaknesses because they don't know boxing and don't know what to look for.

To be frank, you do not have a clue what you are talking about.

You cant be serious? Did you not see how ggg was being outboxed and taken apart in certain stanzas by a no name in willie monroe, until monroe just quit? If you would open your eyes and disregard all the hype you would see the obvious. But your head is so far up gggs butt that you cant see. Only newcomers to boxing would think that ggg is the second coming or something special. Mark my words once he faces a real challenge he will be exposed even more.

You are a clueless ggg groupie who doesn't know boxing at all. If you would get over that man crush you have on ggg you would be able to see all the obvious hype that surrounds him. Reality will eventually come crashing down hard on your brainwashed head once he faces a real threat. And your hyped champion will be exposed as the hyped one dimensional fighter that he really is, with glaring holes in his defense .

i'd like to see it (it's better than a heiland or johnson fight) but i suspect that golovkin would completely nullify and demolish him

The article's title is misleading: Lemieux didn't say he would "fight Golovkin NEXT"... He said that he would "fight the best. Triple G is in that mix"... Which is entirely something else than wanting to fight GGG next, right?...
