Paul Smith says Amir khan has great chance of upsetting Mayweather

Another professional boxer Paul Smith says Amir khan has great chance of upsetting Mayweather.

"Amir wants to fight Mayweather; Kell wants to fight Amir...if I was Amir Khan, I'd sit and wait as long as I could to fight Mayweather...he's got a great chance of upsetting Mayweather," stated super middleweight contender Paul Smith, who shared his thoughts on Amir Khan's chances should he land the mega-fight with undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather.

The guy who was knocked out by Prescott and Garcia, lost to Peterson and struggled with Algieri and Diaz has a good chance to beat Mayweather??????? I don't think so.

Ali lost to an 8 fight novice. Fighters improve. Your logic is so casual

So what? Mayweather struggled against Maidana, who Khan and Alexander beat convincingly. Styles make fights.

Khan has some speed but he's very mediocre beyond that. He has nothing stand out that makes him a devastating or highly unique fighter.

Why do you think he's lost or struggled with other mediocre fighters? He's given too much praise for pretty much accomplishing nothing.

If Khan had ANY chance to win, it's that Jr. truly showed his age and just didn't have it anymore.

Khan has a great chance to make it competitive and depending on what Khan and Floyd shows up, has a good chance of being the first to beat Floyd.

Maidana did well so khan could do well as well. Khan might even do better than Maidana, stranger things have happened in this world.

He's not the only boxer to say that. The same thing was also said by world champions like Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, David Haye, Naseem Hamed and Paulie Malignaggi.

In addition, the bookies are predicting Khan has a 37.14% chance of pulling off an upset (35.24% winning or 1.9% drawing) against Mayweather:
