Make it happen though. A "name" on GGG's resume at least. Don't see Lara going past round 7. DeCubas is full of it though, I highly doubt they are targeting GGG. I'm sure Haymon will make Lara vs Charlo soon.
They have the same trainer.. Only person really is Andrade but he needs to stop ****ing around and actually fight

I knew Lara could beat Canelo that was a no brainer, but here, he just asking for an ass whipping. I say let him have his wish not like any other top tier fighter really trying to fight GGG. Cotto made a oh **** face and developed a fking stutter when he was asked about it after he rekt Geale and said he would love to fight ginger boy without a second thought, but GGG gave him the stutters, so why the fk not. Someone's gotta do it.

Well at least the question of would Lara go to 160 for the fight has been answered.

Look, I think its a garbage fight, and GGG crushes Lara inside of 6 rounds. But what the heck, why not? GGG isnt likely to get the Canelo-Cotto winner ever, and even if he does it wont be till next spring at the earliest. He needs at least 2 fights between now and then to stay active.

And the haters can go ahead and get their "oh hes picking on 154 pounders now" excuses all lined up.

Hopefully K2 and Haymon can get this done. Easy payday for GGG and forever shuts up the "but but but but lara doe" crowd.......

I mean Quillin has nothing going on. Same with Jacobs. Both PBC. Lara could fight either one. Everyone would say "hell yeah Lara beat a legit MW, Lets see GGG-Lara". Seems like a simple easy scenario in which Lara would benefit. Unless he loses to Jacobs or PQ.

Yeah, there's that. Anyone here thinking Haymon is going to be putting his PBC fighters on HBO anytime soon?

Stevenson vs Kovalev, Lomachenko vs Santa Cruz, Golovkin vs Quillin/Lara, none of these fights are happening sadly because of Haymon/HBO not working together.

I'm assuming the HBO/Haymon connections involved with this fight will make this a no go, but I'd love to see it, I think both guys would love the fight & I hope I'm wrong & it happens.

GGG ain't getting a big fight this year unless something crazy happens so Lara is a great get for him. Few top guys wanna fight Lara cuz it doesn't pay as well as other guys who are as threatening so GGG is probably the best guy he can get these days cuz GGG has a similar situation going on himself. Great option for both guys.

"A Lara fight presents no money."

                  goes and fights Monroe instead.

                  rofl, team double G

Actually I would suspect that its doable. Haymon probably signed Lara as insurance, and doesnt want to put him in with Jacobs or Quillin anyways and make them look bad, and Lara could possibly even stink out a win against either of those 2.

So yeah, I believe Haymon would sacrifice him. He has nothing to lose. Lara is not tv friendly and cant sell 10 tickets. As an added bonus Haymon gets to play the "oh look at me I work with everyone" card.

I think the REAL issue here is would HBO buy it?
