It's a shame what has happened to Mikey, he had so much momentum fighting every three months, than all of a sudden he starts fighting in the courtroom like Gamboa and Ward. What a waste of prime.

Difference is Ward got injured and Ward already was the undisputed king of 168. He already achieved the very height of the game, proving hes the best fighter on the planet. He didn't have anything left to prove.

AND since Ward is virtually unbeatable, not losing 1 round in the super 6, he was having trouble finding top opponents to fight.

Garcia has not achieved anything, is young, has a lot to prove, and was having the opposite problem with opponents. There were tons of fighters ready to fight.
