Fury has a better overall resume than Wilder. That is unquestionable.

Bum of the month club is fine for Wilder as long as he is leaving them laid out on the canvas. It almost always works in gaining a larger audience, and if they sprinkle in some good but vulnerable opposition they will be even better off.

Until he gets a shot at the crown that is.

He means Al Haymon plans a string of fights at home. And it makes sense in between the big fights...provided Wilder lasts that long.

Seems like an alright idea. One of the problems with boxing is the big names mostly only fight in a small handful of places once they reach a certain level. I'm cool with Terence Crawford fighting in his state & Wilder fighting in his & its probably a good thing for boxing overall for these cats to do that. Virgil Hill was like a mainstream sports franchise team in North Dakota for years. I don't see why more guys can't or shouldn't try to capitalize on that same concept.

I personally believe Wilder will put a beating on Povetkin. 8-9" reach advantage, 5" taller, more speed and power, better feet and agility. Sasha is going to get hurt bad
Hmm. Iīm going with Povetkin. Wilder canīt keep him off, and Povetkinīs hooks will put Wilder to sleep. But weīll just have to wait and see, if I knew these things for fact I wouldnīt have to work for a living

Easy to call Wilder's first defense a bum. I agree he is not a worthy contender but he is ranked higher than Golovkin's first defense was.
Champions make an easy defense when they first win the title.

I don't think Povetkin is going anywhere near close enough to land a flush hook. Wilder has very quick feet and is very agile plus the 8-9" reach advantage. Povetkin is slow on his feet and has somewhat stubby arms. It will look a lot like the Wlad-Povetkin fight where Povetkin was just eating jabs and hard rights all fight or getting clinched when he bum-rushed. Only worse because Wilder is actually faster than Wlad..

Problem with that is, Wlad weighs more than both of them. Wlad was able to push around Povetkin pretty easily because he was superior in every aspect.

Sure, Wilder has a height and reach advantage... but he doesn't weigh more than Povetkin. So there is no way he'll be able to shove povetkin around like Wlad did.

It's gonna be a great fight, super exciting because I know after Povetkin fought Wlad (he learned a thing or two with fighting taller opponents)

If Wilder fights carefully, fights lengthy and circles him... he might win decision. But come on... this is Wilder we're talking about, he fights like an animal. Not nearly as technical as Wlad.

The real question is, can Wider handle Povetkin's hooks? Does he have the chin? Because I definitely know Povetkin has an iron chin.

GGG is drawing comparisons to ATG middleweights with his bum of the month act.
