Correct - I always felt Cotto has the talent and physicality to have beaten those guys without the BS Catch Weight.

He now has to accept some of the criticism that comes with it.

But Oscar was suppose to fight Floyd at 147 in their rematch originally til Floyd retired, so while pac may have agreed on 147 Oscar was coming down anyway can't really fault Manny for that. What people aren't talking about is the supposed rehydration clause.

i'm not blaming pacquiao for anything. just pointing out that a fight taking place at a division limit can still be a catchweight fight.

The Floyd mayweather rematch was suppose to take place at the same weight 154lbs. Oscar was calling the shots!!! the 1st fight was in may and the rematch was immediate set for September when Floyd backed out then the idea for pacquaio came into play and that's when it was gonna be set for 147 Oscar was willing to come down. but Oscar took a tune up fight at 150 in September to see if he can try and cut the weight of 150 .... then he faught many pac at 147 after that!!


so as you can see their is no way Oscar and Floyd was gonna be at 147!!
