Boxing is about divisional supremacy.

How does the bold even slightly resemble a good idea ?

Both guys could fight opposition from within their own division.

Surely that is a better solution than one fighter having to compromise himself?

Or, the smaller guy could grow some balls, like many of the greats did.

Trainer Freddie Roach surprisingly admits that he's not a fan of catch-weight fights. The statement is surprising considering that two of Roach's biggest names, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, have demanded catch-weight stipulations from several of their opponents.

Cotto had catch-weight fights with Antonio Margarito (rematch), Sergio Martinez and Daniel Geale. He says a catch-weight stipulation will be in place for anyone who wants to face him for the middleweight title.
