But PBC please stop with the damn Afternoon Boxing! I'm just not a fan of it, it doesn't have the same feel as a Primetime Boxing Event. But Maybe they do that to grab the attention of a different Audience and not us the Boxing Fans who are already fans of the sport

I actually like the Saturday afternoon boxing, that's what I grew up on as a kid. Then having fights later at night as well is great if you're a boxing fan. It fills your whole day with your favorite sport.

It would just be cool if the main events were a little better (even though Guerrero-Martinez ended up being very competitive and entertaining.)

Didn't help that the college campus wasn't in session; guarantee that if this fight was during the semester it would have been packed.

Hard to take ratings seriously when Guerrero-Martinez does 12% better than Dirrell-DeGale.

Only the second time they put on PBC on NBC in the afternoon; fans tuned in for Degale-Dirrell, enjoyed what they saw, and tuned in for the second show.

You add that Robert Guerrero was already on a show that 4m people tuned in for, and I don't see why you're so shocked.

These numbers are not good. Compared to other sporting events and the massive amount spent on the fight purses and the promotion, and the amount that is paid for the time slot to NBC. PBC spent a lot of money and by the empty seats at the arena they made nothing at the gate. But sure it's a slight bump from the last show problem is the last show got terrible ratings. So I guess that's an improvement but not much was needed to be better.

Entire card ended up costing less than $1.5m in purses, so not sure what the heck you're talking about.

It figures that the card I hoped casuals wouldn't see ended up with good ratings. This was the worst PBC card yet. The Guerrero fight was subpar, but the Breazeale fight was nothing short of disgraceful.

But i will say today at bbq i spoke to 2 who turned it on to watch the stakes and got ****** into fight. So thats a good thing

People accidentally watched it thinking the Belmont Stakes was on.
