Ok we have to take a look at the adavantages for either guy

Power - About even but if i have to give the edge I give it to Cotto.

Speed - Another one where they are close but Cotto doesnt telegraph his punches so they are harder to see. so advantage Cotto but not by much.

Defense - Clear adavantage to Cotto.

Footwork - Clear Advantage to Cotto. we all know Canelo fights like he is getting ****** to the ground and has blocks of cements as shoes.

    Stamina - Advantage Cotto.

    Ring generalship - Advantage Cotto.

    Tecnical ability - Advantage Cotto.

    Experience - Advanatage Cotto.

Wear and Tear - Advantage Canelo. He is the younger fresher guy.

I think this is a clear win for Cotto unlless he gets caught with something huge that takes his legs out of it. But if he boxes Canelo and circle him moving away from canelos left hook and countering with the jab every time Canelo shoots his right he should have a fearly easy night out boxing him.

Great fight, logic just has to make me pick Canelo. Cotto has some serious miles on the clock and Canelo is young and fresh while still having some experience under his belt now. So he should come through and stop Cotto provided he can take what Cotto dishes out.

However the variable in all this is the extreme likelihood that Cotto is roided to the gills. So with his new found one punch power at 160 (lol ) he may be too savvy for Canelo if he can land.

Im a Cotto fan but my guts telling me he is roided. He's had some hard fights, he's 35, and he's a 5''7 former 147lber fighting at 160. Dropping a 175lb guy like a bad habit. Just makes no sense to me.

Cotto is as clean as Floyd, I'm assuming you think he's on steroids too? I mean he used USADA or are we now saying Cotto has a big enough payroll to keep dirty tests underwraps as well?

Canelo still wins, Canelo would kill Geale too. Cotto is a good fighter but his last couple of opponents aren't exactly a murderer's row (Delvin Rodriguez, injured, ring rusted, old, small middleweight Sergio Martinez and weight drained Geale who GGG broke down for Cotto just like Pac did Margachetto). He would be better to fight Floyd, more money and no chance of being KO'd. Canelo and GGG will mop the floor with Cotto, too big and their chins will hold up. Manny was able to hurt Cotto, so I think he would be in trouble.

Cotto's brother Jose was able to rock and hurt Canelo.

I was 50/50 the last few fights but now I believe that Cotto will stop Canelo and expose his chin and stamina
