Always pegged Canelo to beat Cotto but now it's not as concrete might have to revisit this idea.

I still question what happens when Cotto tastes a hard shot or 5 will he start to back up and not look to do the same damage but what happens if he gets to Canelo first.

Just hope they don't put any Cotto proms. fighters on the UC, Cotto has the worst UC ever.

Canelo has one of the best chins in boxing right now. Meanwhile Cotto has been knocked out, dropped many times, hurt and had his knees buckled by fighters much smaller and weaker then Canelo. If anyone gets knocked out its Cotto. Only chance I see for Cotto is to win a decision. But I don't see his face holding up 12 rounds against Canelo. He will rip his face to shreds like many other fighters have done but worse till the ref stops it or until he takes a knee again.

Cotto looked great but Geale is a bum

Cotto looked great but keep in mind Geale is terrible. Geale is a weak Aussie as all Australian boys are wimpy and weak. Geale was picked for a reason to get KO'd by Cotto and lose. There has never been one tough Aussie ever that boxed and won anything. Geale is a soft limited skilled boxer with no heart or guts and a quitter who gives up. Basically Geale has no BALLS. Roach has made Cotto into a good fighter and if Cotto fights low against Canelo will win that fight easy. Geale went out again in disgrace but that is the Australian way just give up. Cotto looked great with the KO but remember Geale is a weak soft Aussie bum with zero boxing talent. GGG vs Cotto will be a war.

I'm pretty sure you are wrong, there's was an Aussie that won a belt in three different weight class, he was a tough sob in the ring and fought everyone...

in reference to fights half a decade ago...jose cotto had canelo on ***** street worse than mosley buckled mayweather

canelo has a good chin, but angulo was far from the monster we'd know him to be, half the boxing public thought lara beat canelo (somehow people seem to forget these unfair decisions, probably because there's a lot of 'em these days) and kirkland was punching in slow motion without any snap on his punches

I'm not saying cotto's opponents were any better but certainly not much worse which is why I like this fight

I don't think cotto wins this by knock out but I do see him maybe dropping canelo but out boxing him with a jab and combos then move around to frustrate canelo because he can't stop a jab for **** and gasses when pressure is put on him he was getting tired against Kirkland in 3 rounds lol canelo has never fought a puncher like cotto before it will be a great fight
