The weight is reasonable, now they need to pick the venue where the fight is going to make them the most money, which I think this fight needs to happen in Vegas and on ppv.

I have no problems with catch weights bcuz every fighter has a different optimum fightn weight but I can understand the animosity when the weight favors only one side, in that case Geale couldve said no. They had an agreement, both made weight, Cotto whooped his @$$..moving along. Feel free to cry all you want about the weight/fight night weights also..its not gonna change the outcome.
However, i would like title bouts to have no catchweights and to be competed within the divisional limits, no more than 160 in this case. Not really an issue but shouldnt fighters be required to make the minimum weight also? Fighters are hemmed when they cant make the maximum, so why not the minimum for a weight class?

For Saturday's fight with Daniel Geale, Cotto weighed 153.6-pounds - which is under the junior middleweight limit of 154. Cotto dominated the action and stopped Geale in four rounds at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

"I'm not a middleweight"
Yet you want to fight at 155. 155-160 is Middleweight my friend.
You're just not a middleweight when Golovkin is brought up.

And like Canelo was the 150 champ, and is now the 155 champ.
Of sorry, thats right, Pac refused to fight Cotto at 150 - despite having previously beaten him - so I guess Cotto is still the 150 champ.
Daggum, I know that you are a Pacquiao fan.....
Catchweights used to be an exception, when Pacquiao made them " the rule " and used weight manipulation in at least half-a-dozen fights...... I would bet my life that you said nothing.
Nothing other than, War Pac..... or similar !
Funny shht !
