Canelo likes that weight anyway. Who cares what weight they come in as long as they fight. Most here being to critical, the MW belt really has less meaning than the fight itself.

Alvarez has 3 straight fights at 155. Clearly he should have no problem with the weight.

Not so sure....Canelo is an explosive fast puncher and what happens when he lands on Cotto? Canelo has no footwork but against Cotto he wont Need much.
It gonna be a great fight while it lasts but to me ist 50:50.

Cotto can move when he needs to and that's what I think he will do. The combination of movement and the superior jab will win Cotto a decision or late stoppage.

As long as it's not below 154 I have no problem with the weight. Anything below that would be a tactic to try and drain Canelo. This fight needs to be in vegas. That's the boxing capital of the world no disrespectto New York, Vegas where a mega fight this magnitude should be.

Canelo will crush Cotto. He got schooled and embarrassed by trout the last quality fighter he faced. A trout who Canelo dropped and beat. Cotto hasn't gotten better since then just lowered the quality of fighters he has faced. Since trout faced 2 bums and a crippled Martinez. Canelo has never been seriously hurt, let alone dropped. Quite frankly Canelo has one of the best chins in boxing right now. Cotto has been dropped many times, knocked out multiple times, knees buckled many times all by smaller weaker punches then Canelo. Cotto has no shot at dropping Canelo his only chance is to try and win a decision which won't happen. Canelo will batter him till his face falls apart or until he takes a knee again.

FYi; The fight is almost sign, it wont be in september, and it will be at MSG unless Canelo Agreess to 55-45 split. But september it is out of the equation?
