How is that possible when it took Cotto another round, both fights he quite and with GGG he quite a round earlier. Golovkin also knocked Geale out in much more dramatic fashion with both connecting with the same hook but one was just too much... People are real quick to get on Cotto nuts because they refuse to see what GGG has to offer be it nationality, race or down right ******ity. Fact is Golovkin is a much more will rounded fighter with a style people enjoy... While Cotto does fight effectively but has done so in his last few fights against past prime or journeymen he has drained... I still see Golovkin winning and giving a worse beating than Margarito/Pacquiao gave him. I won't be impressed until he fights an opponent who doesn't lose all he has in the weigh-in or already past prime or broken down fighters.
If Cotto impresses me at 154 against Canleo I may change my stance on how long he will last or how much of a fight he will pull off. Don't forget Cotto is their for the first 6 but then begins to fade!

He would beat Cotto up badly but Cotto is junior middleweight with a hustle at 160 right now.
Yes and it's a well paid hustle!

I just wonder what's Margacheatos hustle theses days.

This is what I feared. Slobbering all over Cotto's nuts because of a CW win over a guy who just got knocked out and was never that great to begin win.

If you guys really think Cotto can beat GGG, why doesn't he think so? This was one of the most blatant ducks I've ever seen and you should be ashamed of yourselves for praising him

It saddens me to see the self doubt in Canelo. I want Canelo to believe...
Better than holding a title in GGG's division and fighting a weight-drained version of a guy he just destroyed... Now that's a megaduck

            100% Truth.

Cotto resume at 160 overly owns GGG resume.

Cotto: Destroyed the Linear, Ring and WBC Champ; Gorilla ****s Geale (GGG best win).

            GGG: Best win = Geale

You're arguing over how fast Cotto KO'd Geale when you picked Cotto to lose? How's that working for you? Especially when you find out that because the first round was a minute longer than it is supposed to be, it was literally seconds apart from the KO's.

Who cares if one piece of information was incorrect he still got destroyed by Golovkin and had to weigh 157 against Cotto and looked bad in the ring.

This thread is a real head scratcher. Golovkin had a very easy time knocking out Geale, he did it first when Geale was a top 5 middleweight and at 160. This thread would only make sense if Golovkin struggled with Geale or Cotto knocked him out faster, neither of which happened.

It's pointless talking about Golovkin vs Cotto because it's clear Cotto has no intentions of fighting the man.
When you're argument is he was "coming off of a loss so he wasn't confident" is trash when it's false information. That's kind of a big issue. It almost ruins whatever point you were trying to make about guys "not being the same" after they faced GGG. I'm not saying that isn't true, it might be, but saying he didn't have a fight between as proof, when he actually did is about as dumb as saying how many knockdowns it took before the KO was ruled as to who the better fighter is.

                    Inconvenient fact # 1920923820

Floyd's win over Manny... Juan Manuel Memoquez KTFO out of Manny. Should we discount ALL wins over ALL fighters who have losses or KOs on their resume?

                    • Well if we're comparing GGG to Cotto and using the fact that there was more of a fight with GGG....how is that a comparison? GGG let's guys hit him and tries to make a good show, that's no indication of anything other than GGG cares about the fans. Geale has no business fighting in title fights.
