Its crazy i think Cotto's small size might be beneficial against some 160's, he looks much faster on his feet then them. Still a has to fight GGG though, or drop the title.

bum-love-kin is the most over rated fighter of this decade...he hasn't fought one proper fighter but is treated like he was something special

You don't think the fact that Geale was coming straight off his KO defeat by GGG and weight drained made any difference?

Why would I have to think less of Golovkin? If anything it just raises my current opinion of Cotto. Both guys got Geale out of there quickly and impressively.

And for the record I consider myself a fan of both Gennady & Miguel.

            I definitely don't, GGG didn't catchweight Geale.

A weight drained middleweight. If Cotto's camp knows how much Geale has to cut to make weight and they demand another 3 pounds that can be difference between having energy and being a zombie who cut too much weight. Geale asided from his last two fights has been a bunch of title fight scraps and has never looked like damaged goods or chinny until he ran into GGG and Cotto. I don't understand how the middleweight champion can defend his belt at a lower catch weight. This should have been a non title fight.

What is, is Cotto just looked better doing so, he boxed better & he never got hit clean once unlike ggg. It's funny, right when cotto KO'd Geale in the 4th, I knew ggg fans would say, "well ggg did it in the 3rd." Lol! I'm not even a Cotto lover but it only took Cotto 2 KD's to make Geale quit, it took 3 for GGG lol
So Geale landed a couple punches on Golovkin and that means something? He landed punches on Cotto too better watch again if you don't think he got hit clean once. Cotto boxed better? What is that even supposed to mean? Was Golovkin supposed to display his boxing skills against Geale? And the last part you're seriously bringing up how many knockdowns it took for Geale to quit? Like in what universe has that ever been used in a boxing discussion? Just making up stuff to try and nitpick now.

Nope he doesn't. Ward>Kovalev almost everything except punching power of course. It's not a knock on Kovalev, he is good and precise and a good learner but Ward is just something else.

I think this fight shows that MW division is basically sh.it

It consists of 1 good fighter 3-4 decent fighters

If Hopkins didn't getted jobbed against Taylor he'd probably still have the belts.

Waiting for GGG to fight Delvin Rodriguez at middle so he gets knocked out at the weigh in so I can make another comparison.
