'Golovkin is the No. 1 contender for the WBC title and the mandatory challenger, although WBC president Mauricio Sulaimon has said he is willing to make an exception for Cotto to fight Canelo Alvarez if he beats Geale. One condition for that exception, however, is that both Cotto and Alvarez must guarantee they will fight Golovkin next if they win.

Cotto does not appear enamored with that stipulation, and there is speculation he'd rather drop the WBC belt and fight Alvarez in a non-title bout if need be rather than face Golovkin.''

Golovkin dropped Geale when the clock was 0:30 in the third round, while Cotto dropped Geale at 2:30 of the fourth round round.

I think Geale was hurt about the same both times, but he quit earlier against GGG simply because he thought maybe he had a better chance to survive against Cotto. He was wrong though.

ggg is more popular than cotto now and is on the upswing, cotto is losing popularity fast with the fans beause of his ducking and is on the downswing. wbc needs to go with ggg because in the long run he is the face of boxing. cotto/canelo winner gets wiped out by ggg anyway if they ever get brave enough. they need to think 2 steps ahead instead of going for the easy money and sanctioning fees of right now.

Cotto ask for 157 he's probably going to ask for 152 against Canelo knowing he's a zombie at that weight

What evidence do you have to back this up? I emphasize the word evidence because I am not interested in your opinion or the opinions of the other fair weather fans on this site.
