Dats a lotta typos dude.
Well apparently not...NATAS did some nice research and I'm going to apologize to him, eat my crow and admit that was my point of view way back then and I was just trying to save face.
By the way, you made a typo so it does happen (although again I was just trying to save face).

"We have no proof that Ward can't make 160 lbs....he's never said he couldn't. Ward use to fight at 160 lbs...find me a quote from Ward where he said he can't make 160 lbs."
Clearly no typo there. Now go crawl away to whatever strange hole you came out of.
You did your research and exposed me fair and sqaure. I was just trying to save face by saying it was a typo but it wasn't. That was my point of view several years ago and you exposing that hurt my argument and it take an adult to admit that they were wrong and also it take one to admit their hyprocrisy so I'm doing both to you in public and not over private message..
1. I apologize for my attitude and condescending tune toward you for uncovering my past.
2. I admit my hypocrisy for all who will read this...I'm eating crow here.
This apology will be cataloged so it can always be dug up in the future.
Now fast forward 2015, I still believe that GGG should fight Ward and I believe that GGG should be the one to move up only because if Ward moves down and GGG beats him, will he get credit for the win?
Should Cotto give up the belt? Absolutely but he's not going to because it is a bargaining tool. This does not mean that other fighters should cut weight for Cotto, he's not putting a gun to their heads.
Most of the fighters that cut weight for Cotto (or Mayweather for that matter) have no bargaining at the negotiating table...ten year ago, Floyd and Miguel were in the same position (no bargaining power).
If Cotto is crazy enough to fight GGG, he should meet him at 160. GGG should not have to move down to make the fight because if Cotto wins, it's a tainted win.
One more thing...Floyd, Saul, Miguel, Carl, Julio...none of those fighters can beat GGG so those fights are strictly money and notoriety fights. If GGG actually wants to test himself, he'll fight Ward.
Ward himself should fight Kovalev...which I think he will because of two reason.
1. He's testing the water at 172.
2. Kathy Duva has said on video that she has had discussion with Roc Nation.
So in closing, I'm eating crow and apologizing to you NATAS and admitting that was a nice catch. I probably would have kept going if not for your research but confession is good for the soul.Last edited by Queen_Leia; 06-07-2015, 11:44 PM.
