So I guess following should also be fair fights,

Stevenson, hopkins and pascal are (light heavyweight) as is Klitschko heavyweight.

He fights above 154. Anything from 155-160 is MW. That goes for Canelo too.

They're just not middleweights when it suits them i.e to not fight Golovkin.

You know what pathetic? Golovkin and K2 trying their hardest to avoid fighting Andre Ward. They have no problem calling out Froch and Chavez but with Ward all of a sudden Golovkin sycophant fans want no part of the super middleweight division.

Here are the fighter Golovkin will fight:

Froch - supermiddleweight
Chavez - supermiddleweight
Mayweather - welterweight
Alvarez - junior welterweight
Cotto - welterweight


You notice Ward name is off the list because he's the one fighter who Golovkin size or power won't see him threw the fight...he'll have to bring intangible.

Cotto is not a real middleweight but he keeps the title for bargaining power...if you don't want to drain yourself to fight him, you don't have too. No one is putting a gun to these guys head, boxing is a business and Cotto said himself he has earned the right (just like Mayweather has) to call the shot after years of working hard.

Cotto will not fight Golovkin because he knows that Gennady will beat him so he will close out his career fighting guy he stands a chance against.
