Cotto looked more impressive against Geale than GGG IMO.

Because Geale was running more vs GGG than his Cotto fight. Geale came in this fight to fight.

Unless Cotto fights GGG next the middleweight belt should not be on the line. Vacate the belt and fight Canelo, that's the fight everyone wants to see. And it's a mega fight with or without a championship belt up for grabs. Hell if the promoters want to make it a title fight I'm sure they could fight for one of the vacant 154 belts. But Cotto needs to stop disgracing the middleweight title.

This fight was made so Cotto would look good against a bigger opponent. No way he beats a pressure fighter like Canelo or GGG. They will beat him down ala the pac fight. Cotto is good but past it.

Cotto is for real!! I think he will give GGG a good fight. He may be to small, but he will give him a good fight. GGG is a very big middleweight, who really should be fighting in SMW in my opinion and not fight the smaller guy in Cotto.

Let's not get overhyped. He drained the hell out of a lesser fighter who isn't mentally tough. His last 3 fights was made to build his confidence and the public interest. If and when he steps up to Canelo, he loses. He losses for one reason, Freddie Roach. This guy is a front runner. Freddie was more vocal in 3 rounds then he was in the entire mayweather fight.

If Cotto believes Freddie is the reason for his career rejuvenation, then he's punch drunk. Freddie offers him one thing. Cherry picking and weight draining his oppoents

Who was GGG's best win... It was a tune-up for Cotto, just saying.
