Ha! You haven't spent enough time here then. People are claiming he'd clean up 168. It's absolute delusion around here.

Cotto is my favorite fighter. I've been following him since he was 19. I truthfully felt like he was ducking both Canelo and GGG. I wanted him to lose tonight. However, after seeing his performance and re-watching the Canelo vs Kirkland fight, I honestly feel like he was prepping for Canelo. Cotto hinted Canelo would be next and if GGG is available after that, he'd fight him, too; that put my faith back into Cotto.

I'd much rather see Cotto vs Canelo than a Cotto vs Mayweather rematch (which Cotto would probably lose). If Cotto DOES fight Mayweather next, I kind of feel like that would just be Roach on his shoulder trying to get redemption and he will more than likely lose. However, I can't think of a bigger fight in boxing right now than Cotto vs Canelo. That would set up a fight between the winner and GGG. How can you not be stoked for that?

BTW, I'm not an alt. every time I post I get called that, but I'm truthfully a legit poster. I have just chosen not to get involved with the May vs Pac banter that has been going on for the past six years on this site.

LOL, Cotto just made a joke out of GGG's second best career win (Murray best win). Cotto is still a small MW, he doesn't belong there, but this just goes to show GGG is the king of a pile of garbage.
            Kev speaks truth here.

i bet hbo didnt interview geale so he wouldnt mention the head butt, i honestly believe that. usually hbo would ask a losing fighter to compare the last 2 fighters he lost to who may face off against each other about their weaknesses and strengths.

Wow, im surprised how that went. Now thats over with can we admit that Cotto is indeed a MW, since his last 2 fights have been in the MW division and he IS the MW Champ. Now there should be no reason NOT to fight the #2 guy.

Good win for Cotto didn't expect him to finish Geale off in that fashion.

But still kind of sad to see one of the true warriors of our generation take the Mayweather path and cherry pick opponents and pretend he's the best in the weight class when he's not fighting the best.
