This isn't the first news regarding a possible Ruiz-Toney fight (I think it was like two weeks ago?). So I'm not really surprise, but am happy nonetheless. As I said in the other similar thread, though Toney is not Roy Jones, his skills is enough to beat John "The Clinchmeister" Ruiz. He should take note of what Roy Jones did and use a similar tactics for a UD. There is no way Toney would let John "The Most Hated" Ruiz **** him. And unlike RJJ, Toney have more power in the division so he could wear John "The Best Actor" Ruiz down for most of the rounds, and go for a very late TKO. But I'm still going for a UD.

OMG, can you just imagine all the trash talks [from Toney] leading to the bout? Priceless! I'm telling you man, priceless.

I expect ruiz to get dominated start to finish, and resort to excessive clinching/two or three low blows near his end.

I think Toney's uppercuts and bodyshots are gonna be too much for old Louis. Plus he's got mad experience so he's probably seen all kinds of styles. I'm actually picking Toney to KO Johny in round 9.

this post made me think of the recent weakest hvyweight champs

if Seldon and Ruiz had fought, who would've won?

it would be great to see that bum Seldon make a comeback and ko ruiz

If Toney wins I'll cry, tears of JOY!!! Maybe not as many as if the Eagles beat the Pats, but tears of joy nontheless. One more boring bum removed from my radar screen. All POWER to Toney!

                      I'm happy

John Ruiz isn't a champion! James Toney can beat him! "Light Out" isn't a natural heavyweight, he fight only 2-time in this category, won an old-man Evander Holyfield and a modest Rydell Booker. But "The QuietMan" will be his third victim!
