Khan is clearly ducking Brook and everybody knows it. I was speaking to a friend of mine from the Daily Star yesterday and he said Khan asked them not to ask questions about Brook before the interview started.

    Completely pathetic.
Khan previously said very similar things about Brook - he needs more names on his record, fight needs to be built up.

Now it's as if Brook has adopted Khan's point of view and just applied it directly to the Thurman question. He's almost reciting what Khan said word for word.

So if you think Khan's avoiding Brook you'll have to be consistent and say Brook's avoiding Thurman.

wow so you're just a Khan fan feigning sanity.....okay

Khan is telling Kell Brook ( the Man who beat the Man Khan Beat to put his name back out there(Devon) To "earn" his shot against him while he ( a fighter who has been stopped twice) fights the Collazo's and Alexander's of the world and asks for a Floyd fight.

Are you telling me you don't see what wrong with that?

If you want/ think Khan should fight Floyd next you are an uninformed imbecile who I honestly hope comes across some physical pain in the near future. Amir Khan is a joke.

Khan has much more big fight experience & wins than Brook. Brook only has one notable name on his record - Shawn Porter. In other words, Khan is like a veteran in the game now compared to Brook who's just starting to establish his name. He's a very good talent though.

But Khan has fought a lot more better opposition than Brook and when you do that your chances of losing are greatly increased compared to if you're almost always fighting lower level opposition. Khan has been through the gauntlet - Brook hasn't.

Brook only had one real test against a name opponent - Shawn Porter (a man who got a draw with Julio Diaz). Brook was tested against Carson Jones too but most see him as a C-level fighter and not really a name opponent.

          Well this thread is useless.

Al Haymon is trying to build Thurman into a big name in the US, Hearn is trying to do the same with Brook in the UK. When that happens you are looking at a big fight.

Khan-Brook is already a massive fight, between two Brits and there are pretty much no problematic issues: Khan has been offered the majority split, the venue is obvious, they will sell it out, both will make a ton of money...the only problem is Khan being **** scared of Brook.

For those who claim Khan is avoiding Brook, they have to say Brook is avoiding Thurman because both fighters give very similar reasons for not moving forward with those fights just yet.
Thurman to my knowledge hasn't directly called out Brook, maybe there was is an interview somewhere where he's mentioned a possible fight. But Brook has directly called out Khan several times now. I don't think Khan is scared to fight Brook, I think he's scared of losing to Brook and hampering his Mayweather fight. But it's still pretty blatent he's avoiding it all costs.
Where as Brook in this interview simply addresses Thurman and acknowledges him as a good contender in the division.

Khan has losses to Breidis Prescott (D level) and Peterson (C level). He has had problems with Algieri, and been dropped by Diaz (C level), Willie Limmond (bum), Michael Gomez (bum)...

Khan does have some top opposition on his resume, but not recently and he has struggled with, been dropped by and lost to much lesser opposition.

Yeah you've confirmed it....You are a blind fanboy only interested in defending him...

What big fight experience did Rigo have when he beat Donaire? Douglas when he beat Tyson? How known was Pirog when he stepped onto the world stage and put Jacobs to sleep?

Experience is not relevant to a fighter with 35 fights.

Why is your hero Khan so afraid of someone who is not tested???

Your wrong, you won't admit it I know but you are and none of your excuses will justify him not fighting Brook

You missed the whole point. Khan vs Brook will happen but the fight will be built up and my guess is it takes place within 18 months. Just like Brook stated he doesn't want Thurman immediately because he thinks they both need more experience. Brook said the same things about Thurman that Khan said about Brook, he said Brook needs more experience and that the fight should be built up but you're completely ignoring that.

It's a form of blind hatred that some people seem to spew forth, contradictory views coming from the same people on the same page. I don't quite understand it. On the one hand you give Brook a complete pass for his comments about Thurman, but when Khan has previously said the same things about Brook, your view on it changes completely just because it's coming out of Khan's mouth and not Brook's. It's a fascinating phenomenon to behold.

The difference being that Khan vs Brook is a huge fight right now, whereas Brook vs Thurman is only moderately big (financially speaking).

Nah man, there ain't no ducking there. Thurman and Brook always have good things to say about eachother, they've acknowledged that they are eachother's biggest threats at 147 right now, the fight will happen sometime next year imo.
