Cotto is one of the few active sure fire HOFers in the sport...don't know how you possibly be BETTER than that...if Abel is referring to head to head...Cotto is in his 4th weight class..he's no NATURAL or REAL MW...just like Floyd is no NATURAL or REAL JMW....size matters in this era...dudes make weight on FRIDAY and come in the ring on SATURDAY in a different weight class

Nelo ices Pac at 154 but does that mean Nelo is better?!?...**** no!!
Wow, careful there with your logic. These GGG fans seems adverse to it.

      Reach- 70" 67"

I see people making this same statement over and over. cotto turned pro a 140 when he was a young man and wan't fully grown. ggg at age 19 was fighting at 140 as well but he didn't turn pro until he was fully grown. if he had turned pro at the same age as cotto he would have had that chance since his body would have grown naturally through the divisions but what you are saying is something completely different. asking someone who is fully grown to move up 4 divisions isn't what cotto did. cotto was forced to move up naturally. you want ggg to move up 4 divisions when he doens't have to. its not the same thing at all.

Is Gait not a better indicative of size than weight? No one is joking here.

And if Roach doesn't know it, then he's incompetent - or a liar - or both.

GGG is a huge MW, I'm sick of saying it at this stage. He is ****ing huge.

Arthur Abraham is bigger than Dirrell, do you understand that, idiot?
Golovkin is a huge middleweight? I think you need some facts listed for you as Golovkin is far from huge compared to most of the other top 10 MW's:

                Golovkin- 5' 10.5" reach-70"
                Peter Quillin- 6' 0 " reach- 71.5"
                Andy Lee- 6' 2" reach-75"
                Hassan N'Dam- 5' 11" reach- 76"
                Billy Joe Saunders- 5' 11" reach 72"
                Martin Murray- 6' 1" reach-73"
                Willie Monroe Jr.- 5' 10" reach- 74"

Some weights (and heights/reach not listed previously):

To add to what you said:

                  Golovkin - 170, Monroe - 172

                  Golovkin - 173, Rubio - 181
                  Rubio - 6'0" Reach - 70

                  Golovkin - 170, Macklin - 170
                  Macklin - 5'10" Reach - 71

                  Golovkin - 168, Proksa - 166
                  Proksa - 5'8" Reach - 70

Wow, Golovkin is like Canelo/JCC jr! Using his massive size advantage to bully his opponents for an easy win.

                    Triple G, Triple Fluff

I have been watching Triple G fights back to back. They keep making a lot of noise about Cotto not wanting to fight Golovkin and all that. Let's be honest. Cotto is not a Middle weight in the modern sense, Modern sense being a time and age were men are weighed 24 hours before a fight and come in fight night as much as 20 pound over the division limit. Golovkin is not really a middle weight in the true sense he has been fighting at 170 on fight! Should they fight, yes mainly because a unification bout is in order. Golovkin being a big puncher is true but so was cotto at 140 when he also would fight much "smaller" guys at his blown up weight of almost 152 pounds on fight night. Now to be fair, that is modern boxing, where everyone fights one or two weight classes under their actual fight night weight as a way to get an advantage. Which brings me to this point... Golovkin is going to have a short career. Gets hit entirely too much, and not all the punches really taken well to survive the climb to his actual division which is super middleweight or light heavyweight. Hell the only reason he has not gotten his clocked cleaned out is because he has not been in there with a big puncher at middleweight. By the way anyone now of a BIG puncher at middleweight other than Golovkin? It is sad to see middleweight in its current state.

[QUOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;15760854]Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin, says Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach knows very well that WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto is not ready for a fight with the big puncher.

Golovkin is the WBC's mandatory challenger to Cotto's title. Cotto defends his belt on Saturday night against former champion Daniel Geale at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Which fighter is "better" and which fighter "wins", is two different things. Cotto is the better boxer, he is far more technically sound, better defense, movement, body punching, cuts off the ring and never chases, and his ring IQ is higher then GGG's. Will Cotto defeat GGG? I personally believe Cotto has a better chance then anyone GGG has faced, but in the end I think GGG is to big. I actually want to see that fight more then I ever wanted to see Mayweather vs. Pac.

Keep in mind Muhammad Ali has 5 losses and not one person believes any of those fighters were better then him.
