Listen, Paulie can MOVE in the ring. We've all seen how Danny performs against guys that prefer to box instead of going toe to toe. I am not excited about this fight but i aint mad at it either.

Paulie ain't gonna do ****. I know Paulie's not respected as a really good fighter or anything like that, but he's still kind of overrated when you think about it. I think it's his mouth that keeps him relevant. Just look at his resume tho, he's lost every time he took a relative step up: Cotto at 140, Hatton, Khan, Broner, Porter...there are levels and Paulie is not even where you might have thought he was. Dude has been gatekeeper status since his prime.

It's a **** fight, but it actually makes sense in a manner of speaking for Danny at 147 - if Danny can't beat Paulie then he has to either accept his place, that level so to speak or rethink his approach, his team and such.

If Danny doesn't stop Paulie, or at least put him down a couple times in a lopsided decision win, then it's time to acknowledge that he's regressed badly for some reason and start wondering why.

I can't think of one thing about Paulie that can save him in this fight. He doesn't move like he used to, so he can't get away. His defense when he can't move isn't particularly good. He never had power. His reflexes and timing aren't what they used to be. Porter probably cracked that chin.

Seriously, it would be straight up embarrassing if Danny can't look good in this fight.

Terrible. Garcia since beating Lucas has became a laughing stock, 2 very debatable wins (1 robbery IMO) over guys he was heavily favored to beat and a KO of Rod salka, one of the biggest mismatches in history. And now this, feather fisted Pauline who got ****d vs Porter.

Garcia should be fighting Herrera/PEDerson/Lucas rematches or Postol at 140, or he shoudl be fighting someone better at 147, Maidana and his manager has been calling him out for example

Come on, he's fought at welterweight before. Paulie isn't a test. He at least could have gone Soto-Karass or something, someone tough that is actually a welterweight. Paulie isn't even that, he doesn't help Garcia prepare for the 147 contenders at all.

I agree it's not a good fight. I never said it was a good fight or advocated for it in any way. I just think Garcia is terribad and a washed up paulie gives him a good fight.
