Comments Thread For: Molina Motivated as Huge Underdog With Deontay Wilder

Eric Molina isn’t concerned about being viewed as a hopeless underdog during the buildup toward his shot at WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Molina (23-2, 17 KOs), of Raymondville, Texas, has been knocked out twice in the first round and hasn’t beaten a consensus top-10 heavyweight during his 10-year pro career. The hard-hitting Wilder (33-0, 32 KOs) is a 50-1 favorite approaching their June 13 fight at Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

It would be a little touch of magic to brighten up the day if he manages the unlikely.

          War Molina! LOL

Same here, I'd literally laugh my ass off. It'd be one of the highlights of the year fer sure.

PS: I like Wilder btw, cool dude. Good champ. But it'd be fun to see this upset.

He took 12 rounds of punches from Stiverne, but he's glass jawed!

It's because of those skinny legs. It's because Al Haymon protects him.

Keep that myth alive, I'm gonna score big money off the fools who bet Povetkin.
