Khan or Brook likely to be Mayweather's next opponent

Lance Pugmire ***8207;@latimespugmire 9h9 hours ago
Before that, I'm told @FloydMayweather may move toward his next opponent, with @AmirKingKhan and @SpecialKBrook in front, w/in 2 weeks.

Hoping brook. Who else is left though? None if these fights are particularly daunting.

I wouldn't have cared who he fought for his last fight normally, but I don't want Khan to get it due to the blatant Brook duck.

I would think it's Brook then. A fight with Khan would not be competitive at all.

Mayweather hasn't got around to dropping his belts yet, has he? What better way to go out than to unify all the belts at 147?

Kell won't beat Mayweather either, but he's much better than Khan and would be a unification. Would be absolutely hilarious if Khan loses that fight to Brook.

Agree. Brook has been the more impressive guy & is the more threatening opponent it would seem. Plus he gots his 0 so 0 vs 0 is gonna attract in more casual fans even if they don't know **** about Brook.

Brook's style might be easier for Floyd to deal with than Khan's but both fights would be great to watch. Damn, I'd need to see both these fights happen. It's likely that Khan and Brook are the successors to Floyd and Manny's positions as the perceived top welterweights, they're that good. And when they eventually fight down the line it's going to be a hell a of show!

If Kell gets this fight I'll definitely be having a week in Vegas.
