wouldnt a real champion defend his title at the weight limit? why would a world champion, need to weight drain his opponent? because roach the coach. pac and cotto are catchweight kings.

The term champion in boxing in 2015 is a less meaningful term & definitely an overused one. The alphabet groups have diluted the term + I consider GGG the real champion of 160 anyway by default once Martinez loss.

That said if Geale agreed to fight at 157 & can't make it to 157 most of the heat of this fight being canceled, assuming it is, should land on him. The reality is some fans don't like catchweights & don't give a **** if Geale lives up to his side of this agreement, but Geale still made the agreement & its 51% minimum on him if the fight doesn't happen due to his weight.

catch weight is BS but Geale signed the contract, cotto's been there before and he honored the deal. one thing that i find weird is that the WBC make it clear that MW is up to 160 lbs, basically saying that they don't care the CW, but when they didn't say anything about this when floyd made canelo go down to 152 lbs, and that was also a title fight
